8 Lake Erie anglers (charter captains & tournament fishermen) have graciously offered to
donate Lake Erie fishing trips for SEVEN lucky winners! This raffle will run through Saturday September
19th 2009, and the winners will be drawn at the Vermilion Hawg
Fest, Pig Roast Party at the Vermilion on the Lake Club. You
do not need to be present to win!
Each
trip is guided by a seasoned and well equipped Lake Erie
angler, and accomodates you and your guests (amount
depending on trip) on Lake Erie's world class waters. These
trips are designed for anglers of all kind, whether it's
your first time on the big lake or your 100th.
SEVEN (7) winning tickets will be drawn in order. The first ticket
drawn will have his or her choice of which trip they would
like to receive, and so on. The 8th winner will be drawn on OGF for the person who guesses the winning weight of the tournament (closest hundredth of an ounce .xx) in our members only free contest.
Entrants
are eligible to win one trip only. In the event of one entrant’s
tickets being drawn more than once, only the first drawn
ticket will be valid. The drawing will be complete when 6 different entrants tickets have been drawn.
These
trips have no redeemable cash value. The
price for one (1) ticket is $5.00, or five (5) tickets for
$20.00. You may purchase your tickets at the 2009 Vermilion Hawg Fest, or by check made payable to:

Trip
guides will provide all fishing gear, safety equipment,
boat and gas, and bait (if necessary). You are responsible
for your transportation to and from the marina, as well
as your own rain gear and food/drinks for the day. Trip
guides reserve the right to reschedule trips if weather
conditions and wave height are deemed unsafe.

#1: A trip for up to 6 people to come fish the "Walleye Capital of the World" with Captain Dick Horstman and Reel Bad Habit Charters. Reel Bad Habit's two Sportcrafts are outfitted with the latest gear and electronics and convieniently docked at Fenwick Marina in Port Clinton, Ohio. This provides you and your group easy access to Lake Erie's western basin with world class fishing for Walleye, Perch and Smallmouth Bass. We provide 8 FULL HOURS of fishing (not dock to dock!)

Trip #2: An evening or night trip for up to 5 people with Fish Crazy Charters. Night bite trip off Cleveland Fall 2009 or Spring 2010. Check with Capt. Virgil Tent for available dates. You will be fishing in a 23' Hydra Sport WA equipped with 200hp 2-stroke
Johnson, 15hp 4-stroke Yamaha kicker, Raymarine auto pilot, Furuno Fish-finder, and Garman GPS. Captain Virgil Tent will supply all professional gear and lures.

Trip #4:A trip for up to 4 people with Captain Mike Blankenship with Hardwork Charters. You'll be fishing Lake Erie for either Walleye, Perch, or Steelhead. Rods/reels and tackle are provided, and Captain Mike uses an array of techniques including Down-Riggers, Planner Boards, Dipsy Divers and Flat Lines when trolling.

Trip #5: Kevin would like this trip to be a learning trip of your choice. You pick the area from the Islands to Cleveland and the trolling techniques that you would like to become better at or learn more about, worm harness fishing to crankbaits with planer boards and everything in between, day or night trip is also the winners choice, trip will be for 2 people from April to November.
The trip will be on a tournament rigged 2008 21 ft Ranger 621 powered by a 250 Mercury Pro XS, 9.9 Pro Kicker, Lowrance Electronics, Minn Kota Terrova with Auto Pilot, Cisco Fishing Systems Rod Holders and all the latest and greatest gear available, you’ll be sure to learn a few tournament secrets of how to boat Erie’s biggest walleye more consistantly as it’s his specialty.
